I just made the most amazing veggie wrap ever!
So good I had to blog about it!
What’s in it:
Hummus, shredded carrots, red bell peppers, sprouts, cucumbers, red onion, and avocado, with a lime dressing wrapped in a collard green.
All organic of course. And everything is raw- except for the hummus.
This wrap is so delicious and fresh and it’s a GREAT way to get those veggies in! Veggies are the best food for your body! One of the best ways to improve your health is to eat plenty of vegetables (even better if they are raw, locally grown and organic). So yeah… mom was right to make you eat your vegetables!
To enhance the flavors of these fresh veggies, I added a little lime (you can also use lemon or red wine vinegar), and sprinkled some salt, pepper, and cumin. Do this and prepare for an explosion of flavor!
